Mission Statement: The Vega Girls Project (a 501C Non-Profit Corporation) focuses on increasing the participation, knowledge and skills of high school girls - including students with disabilities and special needs - in the areas of math, science, engineering, business, and technology.

This after school program involves participant interaction throughout.The students engage in a wide variety of activities and experiments.The participants meet once a week at their schools. Relevancy of the material is assured through the completion of a community /school based project. The participants meet a women from a broad spectrum of related careers.

Near the end of the school year, a celebration of the students' work and accomplishments is presented.
